  •  Well, we actually had a pretty good SFF (none / 0)

    with more people than could play games for points.  We had to set up a private room.

    JohnEMidnight was lethal as always, as was Robbins and aamato.  Blankman was his usual atmospheric-self.  At one point in the evening I put a bounty on a couple of people's heads.  

    10 points for aamato (for crippling effect)
    and
    5 points for every Blankman kill - for morale.

    It was fun, and on one of the maps, I think the only kills I got were aamato, at least 4 in a row.  Of course, my kill/death ratio was probably -17 or something but it sure feels good to take down one of the dominators.

    At one point in the evening, a couple of my friends from VGR joined our room - which was nice for several reasons.  It prevented undesirable randoms, and I finally got a chance to play with those guys,too (something I haven't done).  Having read the forums over there, I know that they play Hardcore Search and Destroy a lot, and that they love their CoD4, but I had no idea they were as good as they were.  It was pretty much which ever team they were on (especially MrChedda), won.  There was hardly a game where he didn't get at least a 10 kill streak.

    Anyway, Saturday night more than made up for Friday night's technical difficulties.  Thanks everyone.  It was a blast and I turned off my 360 completely satisfied.

      Suns for not making it on saturday.  The girl and I had company over and by the time they left (2est) I was already pooched from the long night of hanging out and the massive leg workout I did earlier in the day!

      Really Does starts it off by teamkilling JohnE at the spawn point!  That was hilarious!  Despite the fact that we couldn't manage to get two rooms going in Gears during the FFF, Saturday was very fun!  We had a great time especially when it came to free-for-all in Shipment & Vacant.  Robbins & I were trading kills back and forth.  We just busted up so much that we couldn't even speak.  LOL  Ah, good times with good people. :)

        I was trying to figure out what the heck was going on with you guys.  Then, I come out from camping (roasted wiener still on a stick) and Robbins, (laughing so hard he can hardly stand), shoots me down like its nothing, like I am in interruption to the real fight going on between you, too.  That was great!

        Hey, say hi and thanks to JohnE for me and the gang.  He carried my fat ass on more than one occasion. ;)  Great stuff!

          I'll pass the good sentiments to JohnE.  Oh yeah, I think there was one game where aamato got a ridiculous 63 kills & JohnE followed up with 48! :O

        is very underrated.  It is absolutely the best map to get the party rolling.  You have to have Grinch genes to not laugh at least once while playing that map.  I love it.  It is like Raven Down but with endless spawns and grenades.  Mayhem, straight and simple!  It is for small doses, but at least one dose a night.
