Gearheads of War

You posed the questions " If Gears 2 is still full of shenanigans, would the people here still play it as much as we will have played the first game, or are people going to say, "No, I gave you your chance.  No more."?"

I think we are almost forced to support Gears 2 because of all of our pledged fanboyism. Sure we'll express our initial disappointment but I think most of us will do more defending than criticizing. I think that statement is proven when the following hypothetical situation is thrown out there- If Gears 2 has as bad, or worse in terms of connection issues online the usual Fragfest game would still be Gears 2. At least for a long while.

Now let me be clear and announce that I don't think Gears 2 will be anywhere near as bad as the original. I honestly think Epic knows the issues they needed to deal with and wouldn't release another Gears the same way. So, I think Gears 2 will  have very little resemblance in terms of those connection issues online to the original.
