  •  Can't be as annoying as (none / 0)

    the HD DVD add on interrupting Halo 3 every few seconds with "Please choose storage device".  Now I have to remember to disconnect it when I play.  As for the updates though, I don't worry about the space too much, and the only games that update a lot for me are Gears of War and Orange Box.  It is annoying though.
