who religiously plays Halo, I think its pretty naive to think that theres no camping spots in Halo. Just look at snowbound how many times have people camped out the basement, or even the buildings. Yes there are multiple routes in and out but now instead of having 1 guy camping you have a whole team. We've had enough Halo vs. COD here and we know who stands on what side of this war. I just dont understand when everytime we bring something up about one game someone on either side has to defend their holy game.

  You're targeting only one map. Bungie knows the frustration with shield doors, and that's why you rarely see the few maps that contain them appear in Matchmaking.
  Personally I'd like to hear a map named that doesn't contain shield doors that you think is a camp fest.

        up the purple lift things, there is someone there with a mauler 90% of the time. Please don't make it seem like I am bashing the game guys, you asked me where there were campers and I am responding to it. I agree that there are campers in CoD as well (many more infact), but that doesn't change the fact that I like the basic gameplay of CoD more. It's preference, not bashing.

        Since there aren't any Maulers in the Matchmaking version of Construct anymore (think there might be one down below somewhere, but just like on maps like Guardian, Bungie removed them for the most part). The Sword is still a problem on that map though, which is why I prefer the MLG version of the map (but really, I prefer MLG gameplay to the regular Halo gameplay anyway).
        But really, there are so many ramps and ways to flank that you don't need to go up the lifts. Or if you do, do so when you see some team mate callsigns above you.
        And yeah, you prefer the gameplay of COD, I prefer Halo's (though I've been wanting to get in on COD in FFF lately, I've been preoccupied on Friday's with our G-ball stuff; looks like we're going to make playoffs!).

        are ways around camping in every game, but my point is there is still camping in Halo. It's a great game, but it still does suffer from campers (although not as much as many other games). As for there not being maulers, I haven't done matchmaking on the map in weeks because I got fed up with people camping the lifts and simply back out when the map comes up for me.

      Because I'm thinking you're talking about the Sword room and shotgun halls. Take those two items out though and it's fine.

        they're in there! All Im trying to say is that camping happens in all games whether it be your beloved Halo or my COD it happens in all games and theres really nothing you can do about it!

        There's one good way to take away camping in all forms.
        Make a map that's nothing but an empty box and call it done. Won't have to worry about it then!

        if Im taking this the wrong way, but Im not sure why the hostility towards me in this post. You originally asked what maps people camp on. So I gave you examples then you say well ya but only those 2 spots besides that there isnt, then I reply with ya but they're there. I then go on to say that theres camping in all games whether its halo COD or any other MP game you just cant get around it. So if Im taking this the wrong way I appologize but the sacarstic response definately wasnt needed you asked I answered thats all.
