When you are coming around a corner just let of the gas and as soon as your turning around the corner just accelerate. You really don't need to brake that often mostly let of the gas so you can maintain good speed. I have gotten a lot better at this just playing the single player and going on the freeway let's you practice with weaving in between cars.
