    Gears 2 is coming along nicely...

    Gears really was nothing more than a set up...its multiplayer was extremely bare bones, single player lacking any real depth and feature set could be toppled by some arcade games.

    That said, it had gameplay that rivaled the best in the business which made multiplayer seem detailed, single player perfect and feature set enough.

    Now that they've laid the ground work they can match up the gameplay to a full blown feature set and make people forget about GTA as a Game of the Year candidate...

      But some of the best MP games of all time still rely on teamdeath match only. :)

      Like Blankman and ESUNS were saying a couple days ago, Gears is the best multiplayer experience available. The amount of emotion and drive alone surpasses any other game.

      But the necessary party system and additional features will obviously only improve online. :)
