    is just amazing to me.  Don't get me wrong, I think that free spirit, risk-taking approach to life is fantastic.  It just continually catches me off guard.  I think it is especially prevalent in the Games industry.

      I think its partly due to the hours a company packs into a week or month or year.
      I would expect it can get pretty stressful and the grass may appear greener on the other side of the fence.

        Ever since Frank left OXM to go over to Bungie, I thought that he would stay there for the long haul.  Yeah, he's been there for a long time, but I guess his heart was in it for the Halo franchise since he wants to do more.  Alex Seropian (Wideload Games) left when MS acquired Bungie as well as a lot of talent like Max Hoberman & his crew (Certain Affinity).  It still boggles my mind when people leave successful companies/teams.  Whatever happened to the good old days when you started & ended your career with the same folks that were with you every step of the way?  Wow, those days are long and gone.  :(
