Gearheads of War

Honestly, the controls (especially in close quarters) aren't the best.  However, I think the new shooting system works incredibly well once you get used to it.  It's not perfect though, I still occasionally get stuck on cover (in close quarters).  

The game doesn't start off thrillingly, you're right.  It tries to introduce you to all of the mechanics slowly, and I think it holds your hand a little too much at the beginning.  It does build up immensely into the most engrossing video game storyline I have experienced so far.
