I see I didn't know MS nailed them twice? Damn like someone else mentioned they didn't want to overshadow Gears2. I guess I can see the point but really since Bungie is seperate now they need to find a new publisher so they have more control. If the game or games were ready for show they only have the TGS later in the year for a large venue to show them off. Kind of pointless to show them then.

really doubt the reason Microsoft pulled the plug is that they didn't want to over shadow gear. I just dont buy that

Same here.

The more announcements/show stopping moments they have the better.  There's no reason why the should have cancelled at the last second.  Bungie actually went to E3 too.  Wonder if they were going to perhaps give a short speech as well before it was announced?

Either way, stupid move on MS's part.
