    because I am just going by his update entry in the dairy above.  As he wrote:

    "The guys at Penny Arcade helped convince Karen Traviss to write the Gears prequel novel coming out on October 28th.  The "Mad World" trailer sealed the deal for her."

    You know, someone will have to take her through the game (if she is not a gamer herself) because she needs to know why zooming in on Cole in the Hollow in "Rendezvous" is even more awesome than watching Marcus running down the deserted streets in "Mad World".  Who would have ever thought they would top "Mad World"?  But they did.

    I want it NOW.  I want all of it (comics, novels, and games) NOW!

      I'm retarded I read it but didn't "read" it. Over at the PA site they mentioned Karen and that they were having dinner with her too. Just so much info and I'm still excited from those Lancer pics!

      Mad World was an amazing glimpse at the Gears enviroment it really sucked you in and gave a sense of what the game was all about. Dark streets, giant monsters lurking in the shadows the song alone gives you a feeling of lost hope, perfect for the human race struggling against the locust. Then seeing it play on the big screen before a movie was even better. I hope rendezvous gets the same treatment on the big screen that would be sweet.
