Frag Fest? Friday 19Jan07

So what's the plan?????????
So is there going to be an organized attempt at hosting what I've heard refered to as the "Frag Fest"?  I posed the same question last week, but alas it was too late in the game to try and organize anything.

I have some friends that I usually get on with for Friday/Saturday nights, so maybe there can be an attempt to get some good games going!

Let me know if you guys have any ideas.

My gamertag is "Master Pre" if you want to get ahold of me on Live.

    Thanks Master Pre for initiating a sign up/notice for this Friday Night.  I hope all interested Gearheads drop in here and post to corrdinate a start time and host.

    As much as I want to champion this session and host, I just returned from a long deserved vacation myself, and have promised my attendance elsewhere on Friday.  However, if I am free and clear later in the evening I will check to see who is still online.  

    Oh, and if you have friends you wish to bring in to the fold, please be sure to make sure your fellow Gearheads (playing) are in aggreement and that there arent any other active gearheads begging to get into the group.

      I completely understand!  I have my professional life, marriage and social life that all takes up time!  Friday and Saturday nights usually work for me, but not always.  If you can't make it, I understand.

      It doesn't appear that many folks are interested just based off of the posts and responses, although I have gotten some friend requests from what I assume is this site.

      I have no qualms heading up this effort, but there are no guarantees.  We would really need to have some guys step up and say that they will host the matches and then just start filling those up.  So to that end, I will be hosting a match tomorrow night (Friday), if you want in just send me a friend request, and I will accept it and we'll see what matches can get arranged!

      The key is to get the friend invites out there, so the coordination can occur a little more easily!

      Damn Boris, I have been unable to get XBox Live to recognize your "Spartan 713" gamertag.  It's stating that the account/name does not exist?  

      Is there a spelling error or anything to that end?

    Thanks for the reminder.  I recently changed my gamer tag since there was some confusion between my profile here and on xboxlive.  "DamnBoris" will get you there.

    If you are up for Friday, then volunteer to host and we'll see who trickles in.  Gamers are procrastinators, so come Friday there may be more interest.

      If 2 things happen:

    1. It snows as crazy as it did yesterday, I'm not going anywhere.

    2. I can keep the G/F off of Viva Pinata.

    And 3) I can keep MYSELF off of Viva Pinata.
    Good god that game is addicting, it's crazy!!!!

    I usually get online anywhere betwenn 9:00-10:00PM CST.  So for you East Coasters 10:00-11:00PM EST.  

    I have sent friend requests to the guys that have replied to this thread, and will try and get some hosts and games together for tonight.  

    The crew I usually play with typically takes up most of the 8 man capacity, but I'll try and get some side games going to make sure everyone has got some folks to chainsaw! hahah
