halo 3 sniper

has anybody ever seen a fifty caliber rifle?? all you have to do is imagine the sniper in halo and there you have it. i found it weird that master chief is carrying around one of the most powerfull guns known to man. today on mythbusters i saw one and almosts freaked because it looked the exact same. then it penetrated through about an inch of steel. i just thought it was pretty sweeet to see a halo gun (the exact thing) in real life and thought that i would share.

when one is hit with a .50 caliber round in the head, the skull and contents are actually carried out the back of the 'head' to about 75 yards downrange.
Of course, it's easier simply imagining the head 'exploding' as in GoW, but the idea is really what counts, I suppose.

There are body pieces, so if you can't hold down your lunch very well, don't watch. It shows the awesomeness that is the .50 cal (now legal to own at the age of 18, yes!).

    I didn't say "human" body pieces, I just said body pieces. ;)
    But your video is definitely way better. And my friend's step-dad was a Marine sniper, and he's a really cool guy.

  there's a way to do that, just a bit of moving / extracting some bolts and stuff. Now, being able to shoot a Semi-50cal is a COMPLETELY different story. Most humans can't even fire a Desert Eagle in a somewhat-fast rate.
