HD TV acting weird?

When I hook the 360 up to my HD GOW looks awesome... When I put in oblivion it looks pixelated and awful. The GOW details jump out at you. But I have to switch for oblivion cause it looks to bright and colorful and jaged edges poke out everwhere. Anyone else have anything like this happen or am I over looking something.
I have a phillips 60inch HDtv and the regular A/V jacks with the 360 on TV look awesome - When I hook up HD it tells me its 480dpi and on the 360 main screen everything looks great and all the games we have tried so far except Oblivion look so much better. Oblivion looks like its breaking up no smooth edges very pixelated. The people,Plants,roads ect... look like an old nintendo game. I dont know what happened

    I own both games and have not had any issues with Oblivion like you have described.  

    What HDTV do you have?

    What are your current video settings on your 360?
