No More GoW FFF?

I, for one, am not part of the Halo 3 beta. Hopefully there are some other have-nots Gearheads out there who will be able to play GoW this Friday? I can't go back to playing random player matches! Especially after the quality I've experienced here! Who will not be doing the beta and looking for some GoW action Friday? (I can try hosting even though I've never done it before.)

will be playing the beta for the next 3 weeks because its our only time to play, gears will always be there. So our regular schedule will probably resume on the 9th of June.

  And it might work out to my favor! All you hardcore Gearheads will have to "retrain" yourselves to play GoW. That will give me a huge advantage. (At least for the first minute or so!)

      10 times more common in Halo, though. Trust me, play Halo for a few days without playing Gears, then come back to Gears. You won't do too hot for at least a few games.

        It'll seem different because it has a reticle and it's actually supposed to be played like that. Also shotgun circle straifing in halo isn't 80% luck conclusion.

        Huge exageration. When you find really skilled shotgun users, it's not 80% luck. They will kill you every time. Plus, it's far from all circle strafing in Gears, where as it's pretty much 100% circle strafing in Halo.

        Sorry misread that. Gears circle straifing is mostly luck of the draw. I've wiped out entire teams when playing with people from this site just by doing it, and I'm not good at this game. Halo gets away with being a 100% straifing shooter because it's designed that way. Gears multiplayer is like 80% circle straifing when it should be somewhere between 0-10%. I'll say it again Gears mp is broken.

        Yeah, really doe is that racist/pc kid who was pissed off at some guy for referring to Cole as the black guy and when I said "You're really p.c." he said "Well you wouldn't call an Asian yellow would you?" to which I responded "I would if he was a coward." and then he put me on ignore. He circle strafes with the shotgun just like everyone else here, so I don't know what you're getting at.

        I didn't want to start up a fight, I just wanted Mel's side of the argument, that's all. I think it's cool how he always has the other side of the argument, and to be honest, he backs it up quite well. You kids need to settle down, it's still friendly arguing. ANYWAYS... you say Gears mp is broken, but what's your explanation as to why it has become more played than Halo (I mean numbers right now or whatever, don't argue about time, I know Halo overall has more playing time), and don't just tell me graphics or because it's new because that's obviously not it. You know there's gotta be something with the mp gameplay that is extremely satisfying.

Yeah I'll probably play on Friday night because I also will not be getting the Halo 3 Beta. I've hosted before so if we have enough people to play I'll host some matches, I'm on east coast so I could start hosting around 8:00. Just let me know if you want to play. Later

  GearsChrisB, you can have the host. I don't know if my upload speed would be good enough? (It runs around 450kbps.) But I'm totally psyched to see there will be a bunch of Gearheads playing GoW this Friday.

if you like explosions even a little bit- buy crackdown right now. This game is seriously one of my favorite games of all time because it lets you control what happens and never makes you "go here" or "do this" you are completely free to just screw around. Actually I think I'm going to go play it right now....
