Just wanted to say thanks to the Gearheads!

Most of you know who I am. For those who don't I'm Master Pre and I run another gaming community called Masters Few. I just got done doing a writeup for my site and since it involved some Gearheads that I gamed with this weekend I figured I'd post it over here.
I will admit I'm a bit biased towards my guys and my fellow Masters, but I have to admit that the likes of the "Doe" twins and Zoso Fan can leave the most well versed GoW players in a crumpled pile on the battle ground.
Anyway, Here's the writeup if you guys are curious at all.
Master Pre
Leader, Masters Few
"So here is part two of my writeup for today.
Masters Few = The Refiners Fire
What do I mean by that statement? Thanks for asking! hahah
Ok, so I had the oppurtunity to test my game against outsiders this weekend. I know it's odd that I left our compound to visit the outside world but sometimes you have to see what the non-Masters have to offer.
It was really a pleasant surprise to have a fun gaming experience, most of my opponents (and some teammates) were from the Gearheads of War (www.gearheadsofwar.com) which made for the quality of play to be both high and enjoyable.
I was finally able to test my game against the likes of such legends of the Gearheads such as the "Doe" twins "Seriously Doe" and "Really Doe," JohnEMidnight, Zoso Fan, Blankman, and others. (*Note: Sorry if I missed any of the other Gearheads)
I will begin by saying that the games were very competative, in that no team or player had a huge advantage in that there was no one dominant player, but some fantastic team efforts were seen on both the Cog and the Locusts.
Where my team pride came in is that the Masters really stuck together, played as a team and won a majority of the games. We played some fantastic game, and I had the distinct privelege of gaming with Zoso Fan on my team. Might I say that he is one of the funniest guys I've ever encountered on XBox Live. I think he had AP and myself in stitches as he made some of the most random statements I have ever heard for in game commentary. Bravo Zoso Fan, Bravo!
So the "Masters" represented well against a strong adversary, it was not a clean sweep but I do feel comfortable in calling it a victory for our cause, that being good, clean fun in an online gaming environment.
I owe any success I had to two distinct and equally important factors:
Factor 1: Host Advantage (I was the host, and while I have a very solid connection, it sure doesn't hurt to be host)
Factor 2: Playing and refining my game against my fellow Masters.
I think that sometimes we forget just how good some of our fellow Masters are. I don't believe in glorifying the individual too much, but we've got some fantastic players that are both superb gentleman and gamers. This is where the "Refiners Fire" comes into play.
We have trained like an army of ninja's for months, and it has yielded possitive results in everyones game. I feel that I owe you all a big "Thank You" for not only allowing for such a fun experience, but being such good sports through it all.
We've got a great thing going here, and every Gathering of the Masters we hold, that becomes more apparent. Let's keep the good vibe's going and really enjoy this whole thing for what it is:
A bunch of guys getting together, acting as gentleman and enjoying some online gaming!
Pre"
Thanks for the great gaming experience, and while we may be from two different gaming communities, it was a lot of fun to get some great gaming in with you guys.
You Gearheads are a great bunch of guys. Thanks for your time.
