wow what an unlucky guy. i can understand the system breaking once, but 11 times that is crazy, i thought my 5 times was a lot. microsoft says the failure rate is in the 3-5% area well i think there lying. I really think it is probably 5 times that. I wouldn't release the real number if i was Microsoft either. the 5 times it broke is basically the reason why i am not completely happy with the 360. Plain and simple they made a crappy console good thing i like the games coming up and out for it or i would have got a new console by now.

I have had mine since launch with no problems at all. It seems like you go through several 360s or your original is fine. None of my friends have had a single problem either...

i know lots of people with launch consoles in my area, and only one had one break down... and it was his fault.

out of five close friends three have failed. but i have to comment on how quick i got a new one. it took seven working days. impressive. when we get them baCK THEY ARE REFURBISHED BUT NOT OUR OLD ONE. ARE THEY FIXED AND MADE BETTER. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

all the sudden the machines made loud noise wen trying to play. a grinding sound.

mine is in perfect condition and i even do (none / 0)

things that people tell me not too
for example grymm told me not to leave my console on for a day but i did anyways (sorry) and still do a lot. my system is still perfect
i am currently knocking on wood ;)

really have to wonder in what kind of condition he's keeping his shit. I reaaalllly doubt that all 11 times were the console's fault. Had mine since January '06 and zero problems still. I don't know anyone around me who's had a problem with theirs, either.

I'm feeling California and looking Minnesota.

My sons 360 I sent out a couple of months ago and got a refurbished one sent back to us and now he is having trouble again. It's freezing up, what the heck is going on?? That is the 3rd one, looks like he'll be getting number 4 soon, at least it still has a warranty.
