AvP: Requiem

This is the, in my opinion, true Alien v.s. Predator film, besides the junk Paul Anderson (Yes, the very same video game-to-movie wrecker Anderson) had fed us back in 2004.
I won't say much of the story on here, but I will say that this trailer has about just as much gore as 300.  Plasma headshots, shuriken (throwing blade disc) wall sticks, Alien head bites, Alien tail and Predator combistick (spear) impalements, and yes, there are plenty of chestbursters, skinned bodies, and acid-melting present.

One more thing, look for the Predalien.  No, not the measly chestburster of the first film.  I'm talking about the full-grown monster that would give Freddy Krueger nightmares.

On a side note, there is a game coming out for the PSP, and I suggest that you don't get it.  I love the films and the game Alien v.s. Predator 2 on the PC, but this looks like the piece of crap that Predator: Concrete Jungle was.

    FInally some violence.  Did anyone notice that the alien that the predator sticks his arm spike through its face is a predator/alien.  By this i mean it came from facehugging a predator.  Look at its face it has a predator mouth.  How frigging awesome is that.

    Fuck this, tell me when fox finally gets their act together and gives us the movie Aliens with some predators in it. I don't want to see the aliens and predators duking it out in Montana, I want to see them on some sort of space colony in the middle of nowhere kicking the shit out of the marines from aliens. I'm calling it right now. Game over man, game over.

    After a long drunken bar conversation I have decided that since the directors have something to prove, that this movie COULD be decent, and by decent, I mean I might watch it on tv a couple times.

    I'm still really disappointed at how half assed they've treated the alien franchise during these movies. They created a really good sci-fi world (The first 2 movies did...) and they're just neglecting it. he Predator franchise doesn't have that, they just have a really cool mysterious alien race, so I'm wondering why they don't combine the best of what alien brings to the table with what predator brings to the table?  COME ON FOX!
     I'm  also still really angry at fox because Ridley Scott wanted to do another alien movie before production on avp began, and they never got back to him. After seeing AVP he's divorced himself from the franchise.
