Neca Gears figures @ Toys R Us

 Hey guys just wanted to give everyone a heads up on this.  Dylan's Birthday is on Monday and he was wanting a Marcus Gears action figure.  I went to my local Toys R Us and they only had 1 Cole left.  My Wife asked one of the workers if they had anymore in stock and she went and checked and came back and told us that they are discontinuing them :(  She said they would not be getting anymore series 1 in.  She even checked some other Toys R Us stores around the area and they were all out of them as well.  So if you guys were wanting to get your hands on the series 1 figures and was planing on going to Toys R Us to get them you better hurry and check if they are still available in your area.  She said she wasn't sure why they were discontinuing them and I told her that series 2 is coming out and she said that's probably why.  I did get him the Cole train :)  The detail of these are fantastic.  I just wish I would have went to get them a lot sooner.  I did get it for $9.99 because Dylan got a  $3.00 off gift card in the mail for being signed up in the Toys R Us Birthday club.

    Sorry to hear you weren't able to get the exact model you wanted.  Thanks for heads-up on stock.  I would offer that it was Blankman that bought up your local supplies, but I think, as big as his sphere of influence is, it doesn't reach quite that far.  ha ha ha

    I have been searchinf for the figures as well and have had no luck, went to several toys r us and none had it. I am waiting for the new releases but would really like the locust sniper as well. Good luck.

      I was wanting to avoid the whole E-bay or buying on line period.  They are cheaper at Toys R Us, no shipping to pay either.  When they get series 2 in I'll check into them a lot earlier.  Thanks HELLFIRE :)  Hope the Mrs. is doing well :)  Dylan says thanks for the Birthday wishes too.

        the Mrs is fine. those crutches i "convienently" got are really helping. The op isn't that far away in fact at the end of the month. The docters thought it wasn't that serious. How do you think i was when i told her. Man if she had a sledgehammer she would have used it....................on me at that time. But anyway i tryd to give some encouragment so i said "listen love you shouldn't worry about going in (shes scared of hospitals), you should be more worrid about waking up during the op.
