What's the Verdict? Also, Halo Tonight!

Swarming like Bees to a bear drenched in honey were GearHeads to the Call of Duty 5 Beta last night. I saw a handful playing COD4, but a majority trying out the latest in the "Call of Duty" series.

So how is it?! Also, how was the night? Was COD5 able to produce memories in the same fashion as COD4, Halo 3 and Gears or will this be a off year for the series?

And just a reminder that we'll be playing Halo 3 tonight starting around 9:30 PST annd....I will actually be there! =P I'm looking forward to gaming with you all and chatting about everything that's going on in the gaming world so be sure to stop in!

CoD5 is just (none / 0)

CoD4 in the WW2 era, with WW2 guns, an artillery strike (which BLOWS), dogs, and tanks. Thats pretty much it.

  the Last Stand perk, but you dont die after a certain amount of time because there's also another perk called "Second chance" where you can pick up/revive a teammate in Last Stand if you have the perk on. REALLY STUPID, because a person could be in Last Stand in a place that you cant spot them, and just get a ton of pistol kills. So stupid...

COD 5 (none / 0)

is a decent game feels exactly like COD 4. Which is one of the reason why I won't be buying it.

- What Ive gathered from the beta (none / 0)
  
  its kinda fun having new weapons, and how they react differently and are nowhere near as efficient as their modern counterparts, but other than that I think its a little bit "under polished" compared to COD4. It just does things just like 1 step under Cod4 mind you it is a beta and things could change, but nothing drastic enough for me to buy it.
