What difficulty level will you be playing on Gears 2?

I never finished Gears 1 on Hard core. I've still got a couple of chapters to finish. I am going to do that before Nov 7th...

I am kind of a wimpy gamer. I played COD2&4 on casual. Some other games on veteran (Brothers in Arms), and Halo3 on legendary. But, I'm usually playing on casual. I suck pretty much..

Anyway, got me to thinking about Gears 2. I am going to man up and play through the first go around on Hardcore. Then, would then like to play co-op with someone on Insane (No way I'm going to beat Insane on Solo)...

So what about you? (Things are pretty slow around here, so I picked this lame topic to confess and promise to do better :-)

What are you going to be playing on?

Be honest. And why?

Oh, and what about Horde mode? Are we just going to start off on Hardcore? Or are we gonna go whimpy and start on Casual?

I vote for starting on Hardcore... Even if we don't get many levels at first, it would be cool to playing it at such a intense level...

Unless you've got something better to talk about...

then co-op afterwards on Insane if anyone wants to go through it. If not I'll just do it solo like I did with Gears 1.

  I just heard the word run like 20 times after I said that. Holy crap lol. Oh and Fable 2 has this group chat type thing. It involves the orbs. Basically if you can get a group of friends (orbs) in the same area everyone can talk to each other.

im up for any setting on horde

i played through gears again on hardcore
im stuck on raam for 2 days now
i cant seem to kill that bastard

any suggestions on how to off raam?

i have only snipe, shotty, and lancer plus nades

wish i had torque that may help my cause

  room right before RAAM, on the right side where theres sniper ammo and nades, theres a torque hidden behind you in front of a little pole/column. Its well hidden so look closely.

Insane is available; my cousin and i ALWAYS play new games on the hardest difficulty; if not- hardcore coop then

If I end up playing alone, (none / 0)

I will go with Normal (one level above casual) simply so that I can focus on the stories and the cutscenes more. If I can swing a co-op partner, and Blank has already offered to be my Dom, then I will go with hardcore.

Thanks to Kenny and Adam for helping me beat the game on Insane over the last couple of weeks. Though, I am confident that I could have done everything but the Processing station and Raam by myself, it was great having all the help. It most definitely went faster.

I wonder if Gears 2 will have the A.I. reviving us. Hmm....

This is going to be SUCH a good game!

Kenai, you definitely need to play through the original again. It is SO GOOD! Frak all the nay-sayers and story complainers, that is one KICK-ASS campaign. I loved every minute of it - all three times I went through - even when I had to redo sections. It is just that good.

  I just loved it in the recent interviews when Cliff sticks it to the Triple A developers that make you run through a level more than once. TOTALLY AGREE with him. I want to hate on a game right now, but I will resist the temptation.

after i beat them im going to play through on the easiest difficulty to see if i missed anything and to explore the world of Sera and the hollow.
