So it's official. Bioware has confirmed that it is indeed working on a Star Wars MMORPG set 300 years after Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. The game will focus on two factions, the Sith and Jedi, with various classes being explored. Full details can be read at 1up.

Nope, it's an MMO. I'd prefer SP myself.

  •  YES! (none / 0)

It's finally official! Not sure whether I would like this or a full fledged single player game, but since I've never played an MMO, this will do!!!

With Fable 2 fully satisfying me right now, Gears 2 right around the corner and now this to look forward to, I'm a very happy gamer!

I have to see what this entails. From what I've seen, MMO's don't have any closure or high points in the story that really resolve anything until another expansion comes out. So to me, it kind of detracts from what an MMO should be. I have no effect on the story whatsoever. Understandable, given the limitations of technology, but disappointing. I'd be more interested in an MMO that follows Ultima Online, where people have trades and have to go out and hunt. All the real story is generated by the players and community. That's cool.

  •  I don't have time (none / 0)

to level up a character form a guild or whatever the hell you do in a MMO. It's just to damn slow, I know a lot of people will die over this but I'm not excited and I love Star Wars.

  •  I agree. Too time consuming. (none / 0)

I like to have the option of picking it up playing, then putting it down if I have to.
