Found this little article over at x3f. It's based off of an interview with one of the screen writers for the movie. Says that they want to make it as realistic as possible. Also it's going to be a blend of live action and CGI. Enjoy

I was thinking about it (none / 0)

and if they did it kind of gritty like the Halo short film except with even higher production values and darker theme. This has potential to be scary and bad ass action.

      to their own opinion. Personally, I think he is a dignified actor and really like his style. Others may not. So maybe your statement should just be qualified by saying, "I don't think Mark Wahlberg should play Marcus" or you could suggest some other actor to play him.

        That's just some stupid scapegoat to try and not get into trouble. In this case, Mark Wahlberg is a TALENTED actor. No hands down. If people don't like him that doesn't change the fact that he knows how to act, and has been in MANY great movies. That's like saying Cliff doesn't know how to make good games. People may not like shooters, but UT CHANGED the way gaming is ever since it was released.

        even if Mark Wahlberg is a talented actor, it's still under the discretion of Wangler's opinion to determine if Wangler believes in that fact or not. I wasn't taking his side or yours - I just wanted to remind everyone that it is his own opinion, and that he should have worded it differently.

        but you can't undermind someone's talent just because you don't like them. Tom Cruise for example. I HATE him since he's such an idiot, but since I didn't know he was in Tropic Thunder and thought that the character he played was HILARIOUS doesn't disprove that he's not a good actor.
