Get an edge on the Horde with an FPS FREEK!

I've written about KontrolFreek before when Zoid asked about grips and add-ons for the 360 controller's thumbsticks.  Well, I'm in contact with the guys from KontrolFreek and they are very close to the finished retail product.  They will be sending the community some prototype units so we can help test them out.  I will be coordinating with any members that wish to participate in the study/review.  The FPS Freek is an add-on that gives you an advantage with the thumbsticks at aiming and overall movement since it is elevated.  They simply snap-on over your controller's thumbsticks and you're ready to kick some ass.  The guys at KontrolFreek have been extensively testing these units for ergonomics, aesthetics, and overall quality (there's more info at the pre-order link).  Donnie of KontrolFreek has also informed me that these cool add-ons are available for pre-order from: FPS Freek Pre-order

More after the jump.

You don't have to pay when you pre-order, and you will receive an email with a code that gives you 20% off the order once they actually launch.  Hurry and place your order because KontrolFreek is finalizing the production numbers to manufacture very soon!  After that, the pre-order price will most likely not remain that low.  The images that I've posted are of prototypes or CAD Renderings, the final product shots have not been released yet.  Again, KontrolFreek is finalizing production quotes and should be launching production in the next week or two.  The actual retail product should be here by Christmas.  Just in time for Gears 2!!!  That dirty dirty Horde better watch their asses!

Update [2008-10-10 16:30:53 by Blankman]: I apologize if I misunderstood the specifics about the FPS Freek prototypes.  We will actually be receiving several units of the final retail version instead of test samples.  I'll work out the specifics as the date gets closer to our receiving the product for review from Donnie.  Until then, you might want to jump the gun and place your pre-order for what has been highly anticipated by several of us since KontrolFreek announced these bad boys!
