Fable 2 will have co-op day 1

Well for those who were hesitant on purchasing the game due to the lack of co-op day 1 those hesitations can be put to rest. It has been announced that they will be patching day 1 for the addition of coop. So pre order get ready and grab a buddy cuz you can now! And heres the link

  by my original position. I don't think it was being critical to not buy a game because it is missing a promised feature.

    sweet was going for was the public outcry of said promised feature not being shipped, and therefore the devs busted their balls to get the feature out in time.

      lose my initial sale. I didn't say I would never buy it, just not at launch. I expect the game to be fully featured when I buy it.

        Just one of the many reasons. I think Fable 2 will be a great game, but so will many others out there. And because of my lack of funds, at the time i paid off two games and it was between Left 4 Dead and Fable 2. When the news was released, it was the deciding point for me.

        was no guarantee that it would have been within the first week. Most of the time, devs will throw a short time period out there and then extend it.

        I didn't take that as them throwing out some short time period, but maybe I read it wrong; Regardless it'll be out day 1 so that makes all of our decisions much easier! Killing friends wives FTW!

        arguing =P Being primarily a single player experience, I didn't see it as a huge deal. Had they delayed it however (and if they still do) than ya, I'm totally behind ya!

    at all, Machete. In fact, Razor and I made the decision to cancel our pre-order because there's simply not enough time to play so many triple-A games coming out in the next two months. We plan on picking Fable 2 and Fallout 3 in '09 when the Gears 2 and L4D ecstasy subsides.
    
    The co-op feature was a main selling point for the game which was touted by Molyneaux and MS for almost a year. Not having that feature right out of the box was disappointing, regardless of the fact that they will now have the co-op patch available as of day one. You are a consumer and you have the power to spend your dollar the way that you see fit.
