Left 4 Dead - give me your impressions..

Please...

Who's played it so far?

Do you love it?

Are Gearheads going to be playing this for the next 2 weeks or for the next few months?

I am looking for a second game (after Gears 2).  Payday was today.  Money in my pocket.  Gamestop on the Horizon.

So what do I choose?  Is it COD WAW or Left 4 Dead?

And Who has gotten it already?  Is it going to be added to the FFF mix?

I'm not to far into it with my buddy, but what I've played so far is great. It's like an intense playable version of I am legend or even dawn of the dead. I don't know if it'll keep you preoccupied for awhile but I think it's worth 60 bucks

I absolutely love Left 4 Dead.  The gameplay is so fast paced and the 4 player online co-op makes it that much more fun.  I am slightly biased though because anything with zombies makes me excited as hell.  Even without the love for zombies this game will not let you down.

buy the PC version, but you may want to pick up the 360 version since many of the Gearheads who own the game own it on 360 as far as I'm aware of.
I personally love the game, though it is fairly short...the time it  takes to clear it is nearly the same as Portal, maybe more on the highest difficulty.  Call of Duty 5...well, I suggest asking Papi or someone else who owns it in their opinion, but I believe L4D will be around longer, if only you factor in Steam's updates.  As for FFF, both would be fun, with COD5 bring echoes of no. 4 and L4D being a bit different from what we're used to...either way you can't find much wrong.

I'll probably decide tomorrow.  Don't want to bust the budget by buying both.

  •  I've only played the demo of L4D (none / 0)

but I would say CoDWaW because I know it has a lot of replay value.  A lot of my friends picked up L4D, and all but one have told me they wish they had just rented it, because it gets repetitive. I don't know how true that is, but I think they're pretty trustworthy.

That being said, it's getting great scores and the multiplayer looks like a blast.

  •  L4D. (none / 0)

If you ask me, WaW doesn't even hold a grain of sand compared to the greatness that is L4D.
