Ok so I'm a little past act 2 I believe (none / 0)

and boy, is this an experience! So far, it's much like a roller coaster action packed experience. I'm thoroughly enjoying it!

I played a little Horde last night and quite frankly was bored. Of course, I was by myself and was going from the action packed campaign to the early level of Horde, but most of my time was spent trying to find Locusts around the level. Regardless, throw in tons more enemies and a couple friends and it'll be a blast!!!

  and some crazy stuff has happened. For me, the campaign has been slightly disapointing-Not that it hasn't lived up to my expectations-just in a different way. I was hoping to take the story more seriously, but with some events that occur, I just can't.

      You seem to be very pleased with the Campaign in that particular game. I can understand constructive criticism and by no means is this site just reserved for Gears' glorification. However, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, Sweetie. It's just that MANY people in the community don't share your negativity about it.
      
      And yes, Horde is meant to be played with four other friends to work as a cohesive unit. Since you are in military training, you of all people should realize that. Playing Horde by yourself is pretty much a moot point and a waste of your efforts.

Holy living f*** this game is amazing.

Smoke grenades = awesome.

New animations = awesome.

Sounds = FREAKIN' AWESOME... I thought the first Gears did a great job with sound, but Gears 2 takes it up a notch. I love the sound of the hammerburst thudding lead into bodies over my new sound system.

Horde is very fun when you're playing with at least three people.

Can't wait for more!
