When I hopped on there were already 10 GearHeads pilled into a Halo 3 match of "Storm the Beach". PacMan and Infection also saw some time but it was Rocket Race that stole the show.

There really isn't anything else in gaming like speeding side by side with 3 and 4 other Mongooses toward an objective, weaving in and out of obstacles, sand flying through the air and explosions going off all around you sending you barreling through the air, only to land and see Grymm roll into the objective just before you get to it. Classic giggles soon follow.
What has surprised me more and more is the lack of frustration we've experienced while playing Forge and other Custom Games. I believe last night was the first time I never heard "Aw what's with the lag?!" Nothing but laughter, screams of excitement and the occasional curse at Joey filled the air.
By the end of the night all I wanted to do was watch the replay's of the night's shenanigans and edit Storm the Beach so Grymm would stop frickin' cheating. ;)
But what were your favorite moments? Also...we'll use this for sign-ups to the first official "Saturday Night ForgeFest" that will take place tomorrow night...although tonight may have stole some of that thunder ;)
So if you haven't joined in the fun, new maps or not, sign up and see what all the fuss is about...
And if you were there last night share your stories, screens and favorite color of the rainbow. Ok, minus that last one...
