It finally happened.

Hey guys, Scotty here, well you read it right it finally did happen. My Xbox red ringed. And the thing that sucks the most is that i had to pay $100 for because it wasnt under warranty anymore. Ive had my xbox for about 2 years now so i guess thats pretty good :/. Also i hope the humpday isn't anytime soon since i probably wont be able to make it since i no longer have an xbox. See you on live in like 3-4 WEEKS.

  apparently its like a hardware failure. idk but you still need to send it in. I can still play on my xbox, but there are just these lines around the edge of the screen and its kind of blurry. It probably has something to do with the video card i think.

I have my 7th one back, good luck as it seemed mine took a LONG time. Ask them if you should send in your power supply.

I am on my second one. But the thing that killed my first one was that damn fan add-on that clipped on the back to help the airflow. My first Box RRoD'd so I took it back to bestbuy, they replaced it (right there, no questions asked) and when I got home with the second one, put the fan on it and RRoD. I took the fan off and it worked fine. Guess I should have tried it with my first one. Never trust anything that comes between the power cord and the xbox.
