Finally got me a PS3

So after about 45 minutes of updates and putting all my information in I am finally ready to share my PSN with the world. (Im not impressed that I had to go out and buy component cables, as they weren't provided with the system)

IZoiDI thought about changing it all together but meh why not keep it less confusing!!!

I would recommend getting UT3 (if you aren't waiting for the 360 version), Uncharted, and then wait until MGS4 drops and other exclusives like Killzone 2.
Ironically, my favorite game on the system so far was Ninja Gaiden Sigma, which of course was originally an xbox game. 360 also has the sequel coming this year as an exclusive...
I really haven't played much PS3 though, Blu-Ray player for me. Their online system just isn't very organized.
The purchase is justified though. By the end of this year, i think most will really want a PS3. Not for killzone 2 like many think though, GEARS 2 will crush it over and over.

        They'll be out in the mail tomorrow morning. I want to thank Grymm on seriously considering between the tags & the faceplate. I'm sure that ChrisB understands that it was a selfless decision for Grymm. This way, both of you guys win. Congrats to the both of you! Also, it didn't hurt that the poem was about me. LOL

        I just got my Elite, and just put on the Gears stuff, and HOLY MANOLEY does the Gears skin and faceplate look SOOOOO MUCH BETTER on the Elite. The Black finish coincides with the Black background of the Skinplate soooo nicely! Looking forward to seeing those Tags in person Blank!

    All of the PS3s will now have the Rumble Sixaxis controller after they sell through the stock of the ones that have the original Sixaxis. Rumors are that there's going to be better wireless connectivity, as in terms of the internal antenna & a larger HD.

    - I hardly use my PS3 (none / 0)
      
      except as a DVD player. My favorite game for it is MLB 08: The Show (and obviously COD4) but the games haven't really captured me. Haze looks pretty freaking cool actually. But I have maybe eight games for it compared to my 33 or so 360 games.
      I did recently buy the new Dualshock 3 and it feels sooooooooo much better than the Sixaxis which felt like Tiger toys made it.

      - HAZE is going to be a big disappointment (none / 0)
        
        It may make some gamers happy, but not only in a "that is cool" "I love this indie game" kind of way. The delays have been to frequent and the silence has been too long. Just my personal opinion, but I would rent first. Or do as Blankman does, buy and return within the first week! There may be some cool things, but the polish isn't gonna be there, and it ain't gonna last.

        PS3 can have their timed exclusive for all I care. Very funny about my "Army of Two" regret, Suns. At least I wasn't stuck with the game like JohnE! ;)
