Gearheads of War

So, I mentioned this in another thread, but no one responded, so I figured it might have gotten buried.  There is a game coming out, by none other than EA, called FaceBreaker.  Though I would normally run for the hills, or stop all downloads knowing that a game has that stamp of un-quality, FaceBreaker is made by the same developer that made Fight Night 3.  I never even played the game, but I have heard nothing but good about it, and the videos looked incredible.  I don't enjoy the sport of boxing, so I never looked past the various media out there.  FaceBreaker, however, is going a different route than the previous Fight Night games.  It is going to be "arcadey" and cartoony, two of my big weaknesses when it comes to games.  I think this game is one that would have my boys howling on the couch all evening.  Now that I have given up on SW:TFU, I really thought I was going to be able to go without buying another game after GTA4, until Gears2 comes out, but it doesn't look that way.  I can't imagine now that I won't pick this one up.

The whole blog is pretty short still, and kinda cool. The developers definitely have a sense of humor.  Some of the art is great.  (definitely taking their cue from the Valve TF2 dev team.)
