Friday Night FragFest: April 18, 2008 - It's Up for Grabs Edition

So we did Gears last week and I'm thinking we do some COD4 this week and perhaps we do a little Gears later in the evening.

We should enjoy because there are only two more FFF until we'll be playing some GTA IV for FFF. Imagine some amazing cops and crooks with the Gearheads. I'm just hoping there won't be an incredible amount of lag.

COD4 sounds good (nice cause we can get in 16 players).
I can host around 9pm Eastern.
What do you all want to play until Papi gets on (11pm) and hosts the room?
Halo3? ~ I've got the new maps, but the only Gearhead I've played with so far is Circuitz
Gears? ~ Or wait till later in the night?

That ever since Bungie cancelled on us hardly anybody's even remotely interested in playing Halo...
There's a few, but it's not even getting mentioned in FFF posts anymore. Which sucks, because the new maps are freaking awesome.

  but quite honestly, the biggest part of my fun in Halo comes from playing with you, Sweetie. Just because you're such a fanboy. I don't nearly have as good a time playing that game when you aren't in the room. So I'll wait to play them until we can get you in.

        COD 4 extensively with the Gearheads to try and get into does~ I guess it all depends on what your definition of "fanboy" is.
        Is Halo 3 my favorite game right now? Yes. Would I defend Bungie if they did something completely stupid? No.
        Fan? Yes~ Fanboy? No
        And again, I'm not secluding myself to the game I love. As for being a Gears fanboy~ heck ya, I'm right with ya zos! =)

        I'm sorry you took it that way. I just meant that you love the game.
        I'll openly call myself a fanboy of the COD franchise, Assassin's Creed and obviously Gears of War. I'm actually a big Halo fanboy too, but mostly for their single player campaigns which I think are awesome and epic (especially Halo 3). I've never been a big fan of the MP on Halo.

        one of them here...But I completely agree about the campaign, papi. My girlfriend and I are going through it (me for the countless time) and we're having a blast.
        I also had the opportunity to do 4 player Co-op with David, MDK and another guy and that was a huge blast. Playing with a bunch of other gearheads would be just as good as any multiplayer IMO.

  I'm assuming that after GTA comes out I won't be playing anything else for quite a while. GTA's less than 2 weeks away, it just doesn't seem worth it to buy the new maps.

I've been out of town this whole week on business just got back yesterday. I might hop on for a little while tonight. Have to spend some quality time with the Mrs. If you guys play Gears or Halo 3 I'll jump in. No COD4 yet, but my Best Buy credit card is itching to be used. =0)
