Moving saved game files to a Memory unit?

I have a question about the game's saved to the HDD.  I stated in another thread that I traded in our Wii to get the kids their own 360.  So I got the arcade 360 version and it has the HDMI hookup, so my premium doesn't have the HDMI so I gave the kids my premium and hooked up the arcade for me to use.  Now the arcade comes with a memory unit, so my kids have viva pinata saves on my hard drive.  I tried to move those saved files of viva pinata onto the memory unit for them and it says that the save cannot be transfered between profiles, so I cannot figure out how to move these files off my hard drive.  Has anyone else had this problem??  Also I'm not sure if this matters or not but the HDD has been on a couple different 360's.  The original one I had was sent in for repair, and now my HDD is on the new arcade 360, are the game save files saved to a specific Xbox 360 system, or does this even matter?  Thanks in advance for any help :)

try moving

their actual profiles onto the memory unit. I think all the save games go with it.

I

just checked and they are not on the MU with his profile, I just don't know why it can't be moved or copied.  Makes no sense to me.
