Red ring

I have finally tasted the red ring of death on my xbox. That sucks cause Mr. C got in the endwar beta XD. It sucks for me because at least Mr. C has a game on the PS3 :( , oh well I have PC games. Anyway, after the ring, the console could be turned on and it can play stuff, but controllers won't sinc, is that normal?

I never heard of that happening. Then again I've never fallen ill to the rings of doom. And I don't use wireless peripherals because I like my controller and headsets not dieing because of batteries.

Some more than others. Another one bites the dust. However, there's a silver lining to your box dying though. MS is now placing the "Opus" motherboard in with the Falcon chip. They are still non-HDMI motherboards, but you get the cooler running cpu chip which is unavailable in the stores. MS is doing this to clear their stock of Falcon-version motherboards to make way for the "Jasper" version motherboards which will have both cooler running CPU & GPU chips this August. Hope to see you back on the horse soon.

Imagine my surprise to come home and find, yeah, I can get it up and running, but anything that is wireless and requires the infa-red will not work...so that renders the remote null, and its back on wires for now. I may send it to the big M once the Beta of EndWar is seen through, as there aren't any major titles being released for a few good months...may wait until after E3 though, just in case.
