The Xbox 360:

New Dashboard: Simple to navigate dashboard coming this fall and looks slick along with… Avatars confirmed: Design your own avatar, up to 8 friends can join a “party” with 8 player chat, watch movies downloaded via Live together, share pictures and much more! The avatars look silly but everything they can do is amazing. Netflix comes to the 360!

NBC and Universal join the Video Marketplace

Games:

Television Shows coming to Live as games; Use your avatar to play 1:100, Deal or No Deal and more with friends

Gears 2 coming November 7

PORTAL: STILL ALIVE EXCLUSIVE TO XBOX LIVE ARCADE!

Fable 2 coming this October; Amazing online co-op via this system: Purple orbs represent your friends when they are playing at the same time as you. Wherever they are in the game, their orb will appear on your screen. Simply walk up to the orb, push a button and they instantly can join your game!

Fallen in love again with Gears (none / 0)

However, RE5, Fallout and Fable 2... Can all suck my booty! Sorry, I just wasn't impressed with either their gameplay/demo or the guys that announced them. Fable 2 guy was like... "here, meet my wife". "Burp!" Wow, sounds like a great way to waste my time... not. RE5, The zombies take forever to get close to you and attack. and the guns sound wimpy and it takes a ton of bullets to kill one of them. luckily they are so slow. Fallout. Wait while I pause and pick where to shoot you?... Lame feature. Where is the nailbiting. And that guy had a zillion weapons. Where does he carry them? "Time to pull out my nuclear bomb launcher...." lame.

I don't think I'll buy Fable 2 tho, guess we'll see.
Fallout looked like it had bad graphics on its guns and such, I know its supposed to be old school or w.e but its art just didn't appeal to me.
And on a side note....That girl singing made my ears bleed.

Gears 2 will be the game (none / 0)

to rule them all. im calling it now. on G4 they were asking what people thought if Gears 2 will outsell Halo 3. Imo i think it will, but hey halo 3 has a large fan base, so you never know. i really want it to. the new footage looked amazing w/ that sweet new chaingun turret sorta weapon. We will be mowin down hordes of damn locust! Plus, the new release date set for November 7 is absolutely amazing. Looks like we dont have to dream anymore huh robbins? lol Can. Not. Wait.
in the more recent future, im absolutely stoaked for Geometry Wars 2!!! It looked awesome, definately buying it (i was obsessed w/ the first one). It does look like it will have some sort of co op mode. Some crazy intense moments to be had there. Overall pretty good press conference, looking forward to the actual show-floor stuff on G4.

that with fallout 3, unlike oblivion, your enemies don't just drop when you kill them, now you can fry them, jib them, and blow their head off! It had a very bioshock feel, except it's above ground and not quite as linear. I wonder how houses will work.

Paintball rules... but is expensive :(
