    since no one else has yet, this isn't Game of the Year, this is Game of the Ever.
    There has never been a game with this kind of scope. I just watched Marcus shoot the chain gun from the window, down on the Brumak and the Locusts!
    THESE ARE THE BIG BATTLES that I thought we were going to be getting in other games. NONE delivered. THIS IS IT!

        For example. Yes I think it's going to be a good game. But I firmly believe that a game can be slightly ruined by being over hyped. There was just a thread on this the other day about how Halo 3 was even more of a disappointment because of the expectations and hype.
        Not everyone here is a gears fanboy, especially considering that it has developed into a gaming community albeit gears is in the foreground. There ARE going to be glitches, it's inevitable. There ARE going to be complaints. Hopefully, the major issues from the first game don't carry over. This game has gotten so much more complex with specific weapon executions, several executions, chainsaw battling, crawling away and picking up an opponent. There is probably going to be a glitch in there somewhere.
        I can't believe I am getting told to shut the hell up for voicing my opinion. Yes, it sounded a bit like I was saying HAHA 3suns i can't wait until you complain. But I was speaking in general terms. There will be complaints. This post however, is absolutely ridiculous.

        Yes, we shouldn't jump the gun and declare it the greatest game of all time and say that it's issues online will be fixed but at the same time...You can't assume it's going to fail either.

        out of all of my friends I was the one that played gears the most and the longest. I truly loved gears of war 1. So I'm really just trying to mentally prepare myself for a "good" game so that when I play it, I have the chance to "wowed" and "amazed".
        I'm all for gears of war, don't get me wrong. But I have learned to not have many expectations, because usually I get crushed. So I apologize if my personal views offended anyone. I just don't understand why my comments were received so harshly when there have been a few just like it...

        speaking out of line here but I think that it was more of a knee jerk reaction than anything else. It is a gears fansite but its nice to bring are expectations back to reality at times hence Suns diary and your comment. Please dont let one response deter you from voicing your opinion if that was the case this site would be silent.         You have listed specific areas in which Gears 2 is very complex and will lend itself to bugs and glitches. I agree and in fact, your list of complex animations/actions is so close to my personal list that I thought you had quoted me. ha ha ha
        Less than a week ago, I wrote a specific diary here on just this topic: Adjusting Expectations. I hope that we are wrong, but judging by one of the recent 360fanboy articles, I think there may well be need for a critical patch, perhaps even before Christmas. However, I certainly don't WISH that we are right.
        Regardless, I still spend ALL my gaming time, ALL OF IT, playing Gears of War - almost two full years after its release and with ALL of bugs and even the broken gameplay. Why should I have any doubt, that I will not be playing Gears of War 2 for at least as long?
        This is a Gears of War fan site. I don't post with reckless abandon my enthusiasm for this game anywhere else but here. We welcome thoughtful criticism here. But in my opinion, "I can't wait till there are complaints about glitches." is trolling and you can expect to get angry responses if you troll. If you find my/our enthusiasm irritating, delineate the reasons why you think the praise is undeserved (like you did in your follow up posts), or let it go.

So far they've had demos of Killzone 2 (there you go Papi), Gears of War 2, Prince of Persia, Lord of the Rings Conquest, Dark Void, Red Faction: Guerrilla, Street Fighter 4, and Resistance 2 (same demo was at the Sony conference).
