Sony's Turn! E3 Keynote on it's way...

After a brief break for hardcore gamers with Nintendo's Press Conference, hardcore gaming is back with our favorite little rival of...Sony. Their conference should start at about 11:30 am PST.

  Just a lot of running up stairs and across the bridge. Plus, it didn't look like the rockets did any damage.
  I'm just waiting to see God of War 3. It better be there. That and some more Killzone 2. Those are the two titles I'm the most excited about.

Sony is really dropping the ball here. They have 5 great exclusives out and we got to see 30 sec of R:2, and the presentation of LBP. Where was KZ2, GoW3, Unchartered, nothing at all. They have this cocky attitude about them thinkin that they can do whatever they please and cant be stopped. Fuck Im pissed I really wanted to hear more about the titles and not a bunch of fucking #'s. I just dont understand their mindset, I dont see any advertisements for either of the 2 games that they showed and what they did show was very bland.

  crap about the 360's backward-compatibility strategy before they even released the PS3. Sony promised full BC for all of their PS1 & PS2 games. Where the hell is that bravado now?!? They figured that the Emotion engine was too expensive to keep in the PS3 & phased it out. Sony continues to outright lie to their fanbase & consumers while those blind fanboys keep defending them when their asses are still sore from the reaming that they routinely get. Damn arrogance! that I'm not impressed with Sony. I thought Sony won the press conferences last year but I definitely think MS took it this year. They actually demoed a bunch of games, unlike Sony who pulled a Ron Jeremy and blew themselves for 90 minutes.

    I'm not a MS fanboy either. I said that I thought Sony won last year and it was one of the reasons I wound up buying a PS3. But this year's press conference didn't make me feel any better. If I didn't know God of War 3 and Killzone 2 were coming I might trade it in. And yet they didn't even give a date for God of War 3 which leads me to believe it won't be until holiday 09 at the earliest.
    Infamous looks pretty cool, but I would've liked to have seen someone demoing it.

      I myself just bought my PS3 last month because of last year's strong showing and their lineup, but you really need to give a big impression at these conferences. Microsoft was the winner this year I think, showing off a lot of gameplay and bringing a lot of release dates to the table. Nintendo will be called the winner by the mainstream, but to me they were the losers, talking too much about numbers and again kinda dumping the industry enthusiasts into the orphanage for Sony and Microsoft to adopt.
      Sony was in the middle. They had too much talk like Nintendo and kinda left things up in the air, but they did bring some decent announcements to the table and some demos, even if they were poorly executed.

        about this game I was intrigued and then went on to scour the internet for any info. The more and more I see the more and more I fall in love. The only concern I have is what if I dont get those creative juices flowing?!?! But hopefully with playing the game and checkin out other user created levels it will happen!

the live demo of Killzone 2, and I must say that I am impressed. The lighting looked great and the graphics were really sharp, Papi watch out I just jumped on board of the hype train for KZ2.

sounds very interesting to me, 256 players in MP in teams of 8. That just sounds crazy, have to wait and see how it actually works out.

I can just see the fanbos saying this and that. When they barly showed anything. The PS2 for $149.99. Sony let the PS2 go and concentrate on teh PS3 where you lost most of your money.

Just watched the live demo (none / 0)

of LBP and yes Im even more excited for this game, no one will take this joy out of me NO ONE! Oct cant come soon enough, dont worry Im still counting down til Nov 7.
