Most Anticipated Titles Going Into E3

I've already asked everyone what their favorite games of the NOW generation is.

But E3 is right around the corner and I'm really excited to see a bunch of games. Obviously game number one for me is Gears of War 2. So that goes without saying. I think most everyone here is probably more excited about that title than anything else.

I'm wondering what are the five other titles you're most looking forward to seeing during the upcoming E3 extravaganza? What games are you the most interested to hear and see more about? Yes, Gears 2 is the top of the list, but what else?

Here is my list:

Killzone 2: I'm not a fanboy or anything, but everything I've seen and read about Killzone 2 has been fantastic for a while. I've heard a lot of Sony fanboys claim being more excited about Resistance 2 but the first game was such a letdown for me that I'm just not that excited for it.
Alan Wake: This is more wishful thinking than anything else. The scarce information I've seen about it has been stellar and that physics demo they had a few years ago was brilliant.
Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway: This is my sleeper pick for game of the year. It'll be an up(Road to)hill battle for BiA in a year of stellar Triple A releases, but the early BiA games were brilliant on tech that could do a lot less. I'm looking forward to what Randy Pitchford and company come up with here.
Far Cry 2: This game has me so very excited. It really seems like there is so much detail in the world and that there are infinite ways to take out your enemies. The demos just from the engine are awesome. I hope they really successfully do something with all that power.
Prince of Persia: The PoP: Sands of Time game was one of my favorites of last gen. I played through it a couple of times and just loved it. I'm hoping to see a lot more about this game.

Course I only say these things because I don't anticipate seeing anything about Assassin's Creed 2. If I do, then that would be the top of my list.

  But I've just had my heart broken by too many RPGs that promise something greater than just the RPG elements but fall short. Like Mass Effect's combat.

1. Fable 2 (Please be this year!; Watched some of the Video Diaries and this game actually could live up to Peter's talk! Seriously.)
2. RE5 (Didn't love RE4, but then again I was playing it on a PC so....But RE5 definitely looks awesome!
3. BIA: Hell's Highway (Been wanting this one for a loooong time!)
4. Resistance 2 (I don't own a PS3 but this game looks like it could rock.)
5. Halo Wars (Come on, it's Halo how could I not look forward to that?)

1-5 Treyarch's Quantum of Solace (none / 0)
I don't mean to be snobby. 402 answers my e-mails and he rocks. I am TOTALLY impressed by Treyarch and I have always loved Activision. That is it for me for games other than Gears 2.
I am, however, open to being thrilled by other games that look good. I think I am just exhausted from being so hyped for so long for so many games.
Star Wars would have been on my list but
1. Natural Motion isn't NEARLY there yet, imo. 2) the 360 version is single player and I haven't even finished BioShock or CoD4 yet - those take priority.
2. the Wii version uses gestures, but not simulation - so Nintendo and Lucas Arts can lick my balls.
That is it. I'm basically done with my dating years. I am ready to tie the knot. For better or worse, through thick and through thin, through good times and bad, Gears 2 has my gaming heart. I would rather watch new vids of Gears for all the other new game videos combined.

  Ditto on your sentiments except for trusting Treyarch, Suns. They've done nothing but disappoint me. As far as LucasArts goes with their decision on keeping SW:TFU a single player game, they can smell my farts & licks my balls, too! I don't see this game getting anymore than a 7/10 rating. The Wii is a moot point for me because I never intended on picking one up nor will I.

        CoD 3 was the Treyarch developed game which was frankly- abysmal. That sucked balls, huge chrome plated balls! The last decent Treyarch game was the Spider-Man 2 game. They're track record is very shoddy at best. I hope you won't be too disappointed if they completely blow chunks on the upcoming Bond game, Suns. I would stop crossing those fingers & not hold your breath.

Here's my short list: (none / 0)

RE 5- RE 4 was one of my all-time favorite games
Left4Dead- Killing zombies with 3 buddies? 'Nuff said.
Fallout 3- I never playyed the RTS-series, but this looks awesome since I absolutely loved Elder Scrolls:Obilivion
Aliens: Colonial Marines- Another Gearbox game. Game over, man! Game over!
Diablo 3- I can't see Activision letting this slip past the console market & keeping it on the PC/Mac like Blizzard intends to. Barbarian FTW!

Hmm Tough E3 for just 5 (none / 0)
1. Alan Wake- Just shine that little light of yours, Microsoft.
2. RE5- Never
3. Fallout 3- I never really got into the first two Fallouts, more so that I didn't have a computer till 6 years ago and devoted my time to consoles. Yet, I loved Oblivion and Bethesda seems have a calling on nuclear RPGs, so sign me up.
4. Aliens: Colonial Marines- Aliens being the first movie I laid eyes on, the series held a special place in my heart. Of course, that was before Resurrection, AvP, and AvP:Requiem prison raped said series time and time again. Now, I haven't enjoyed an Aliens (or Predator) game since AvP 2, so I hope Gearbox is up for the challenge. Doubtful that this will be featured at E3 though.
5. Farcry 2/Left 4 Dead- Sorry, just couldn't resist cheating a little. I want all those corners covered ;)

  And in the hope to see corner, I'd love Alan Wake and Bioshock 2, even just a tease. I doubt Aliens: Colonial Marines will be present, with Gearbox probably going to focus more on Borderlands.

coming out but. 1) Gears2 2) VivaPinata (for my son) 3) COD5 (I did enjoy the MP on COD3 for a while). 4) StarWars (I will check it out first though) 5) HaloWars (Same thing. Play the demo first) After that, I will see what all of you are Raving about and then probably buy the favorite and give it a try.

  Gears 2 will be in November, most likely the week of the 14th. Viva Pinata and Star Wars will be released in September. As for COD5 and Halo Wars, they may see a holiday release, especially Halo Wars from what I've heard from Adam Sessler's latest Sessler Soapbox. I know Gears will be a buy, and I'm starting to get back into RTSs since the EndWar beta came around and the buzz with Starcraft 2 and Spore, so I'll probably snatch up HaloWars as well. I will have to rent the new Pinata (the first was good, albeit a bit creepy) and Star Wars...as for COD I'll just wait purely on reviews.

      this seems very logical to let the Big Dogs (IW) take care of the actual sequels, and let Treyarch cover the ones that Activision wants to pump out every other year or so.
