Big Guest Incoming

Since our podcast experienced a reboot a few months ago, we have had a combined average of over 600 downloads, been picked up by several larger websites, and had five special guests. That fantastic guest list has included:

In efforts to continually improve our podcast and your GearHeads' experience, this Wednesday, we have a guest that is bigger, better, and more bad….ok, so I’m not sure the now retired 3 B’s entirely apply to him, but I’m sure I’ll find out Wednesday. Our guest is a high profile journalist in the video game industry and has appeared on such video game shows as 1UP Yours and the GameTrailer’s Bonus Round as well as running his own blog.

Stay tuned, because tomorrow we’ll be revealing who this special guest is, as well as give you the opportunity to provide questions for us to ask him!

Any guesses as to who our special guest is? (No, it’s not N’Gai but close…)

It might be Brian Crecente from Kotaku, or that guy from Gamespot who got laid off after that Kane and Lynch thing, I can't put my finger on his name.

give up. The only things I can think of that doesn't focus on video games would be sites that affiliate with technical devices, but also include games.

  That was a great read! It seems Nintendo has had a change in corporate culture.
  In years past, their goal has been to deliver an excellent video game experience. In the past, this has meant developing games for gamers.
  Then they realized video games don't have to be just for gamers, but for the mom's and sisters of those gamers as well. Their vision of providing an excellent video game experience hasn't changed- who they provide it for has.
  I'm not a Wii fan whatsoever, and don't own one. I like my gaming experience with a side of Achievements and a `Bungie' or `Epic' topping. But the video game experience for my sister is different and Nintendo is attempting to reach that.
  Perhaps Nintendo is trying to be everything to everybody and that just isn't working.
