Why Dell Is AWESOME

As amazing as technology is, sometimes it fails us. I experienced this failure on occasion when trying to turn on my laptop. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't...I swear it has a mind of its own!

But this all changed with a call to Dell. I told them a problem and upon me asking "How long will it take to get sent back to me" the nice middle-eastern man laughed and said "Oh, no- your under warranty, we're sending someone to your house tomorrow."

This morning, the man arrived and apart from a slightly scaring me when he walked in smelling like alcohol and said "I'm waaaay too tired to work today" as he dismantled by laptop, things went well!

In about 20 minutes I had a new motherboard and my power button works perfectly. Thanks, Dell!

Guess when you were asking (none / 0)

for quick fixes one of us should've said "hey why dont you give dell a call." Nice to see you're back up and running with the option to turn if and not worry how you will boot up next time.

    owned a Dell but everyone I know that owns one speaks nothing but praise about their customer service and support team!

      Even though my school district has a 3-yr. extended warranty through them, they are solid with their support. Gateway used to be the leader in computer customer satisfaction, but they grew too big & too fast for their britches. :(

        We have 48 lab desktop computers and 90 laptops which are all Dell. The service is fantastic and the next replacement laptops for the teachers will be distributed this winter - all will be Dell, along with our 2nd computer lab (another 48 machines) being upgraded in 1 year. Our experience has been just as Sweetie described it.

yea i love dell (none / 0)

i recently bought a computer from them and i couldnt be happier. Its the best computer ive ever had.
They will also get my money for the laptop i have to get for college as well. Bro and sis both have dell laptops and theyre very nice and run excellent. XPS FTW.

I thought about custom-building a computer... (none / 0)

but think I'll build one via Dell. It's more expensive, but warranties and non-pirated software are really the way to go.
