Mysterious new weapon for Gears 2??!!

So, after a brief discussion between Zoso and myself, and him telling me to go to TeamXbox to check out the Gears 2 MP review (well, their impressions).. I stumbled upon this pic of Dizzy holding a Torque Bow. Now, we all know what the Torque Bow is, but he also has a secondary weapon on his back that doesnt look like any other gun we know of. Not a boomshot, not the scorcher, not a longshot, nothing. So, check out this pic and let the speculation begin!

1) that does look like a new gun, maybe a LMG or another variation of shotgun?
and
2) Why is Dizzy's arm so horribly textured? I know it's still in beta phase or whatever, but jeeze.

  the camera is brought up close for the screen. There are lots of shots from GOW1 where aspects look like they have bad textures but in motion and direct view its not the case.

for some odd reason, I have a feeling that Dizzy is going to be the new Carmine of Gears 2. Just because everyone wanted to be the odd one out of the bunch on the COG in gears1 and Carmine was the most different one. Now we have a stranded redneck with a cowboy hat and shirtless armor like coletrain, everyone is gonna want to be him just because he's different. Not like it's a big deal or anything, just saying.

        A) No, it IS Cole
        B) His helmet is amazing to dome, and is in my opinion the easiest to headshot with the sniper
        C) COLE has the best one-liners after headshotting someone, that's just pure fact
        All in all, Carmine sucks, haha. He wishes he was half as jacked and hilarious as the Cole Train. Woooo!

to the Boomshot and Torque Bow. Doubt it will be a solid up and at em rocket launcher, but it will be an explosive based weapon. I mean, look at the caliber of that barrel!

but I remember hearing something about the Hammer of Dawn that made me think otherwise...if I find the article I'll link it up here.

At first I thought it was the Lancer but from a weird angle. Looking again.. it seems pretty obvious to be a new weapon.
Apparently we'll find out next week!

its some sort of mortar weapon. I remember hearing or reading about that weapon. Its supposed to be another type of Hammer weapon. But don't quote me on that grymm. Its just an opinion lol...

think it's carmine's brother who is returning, kinda like what that figure said on the back of the box. Since Carmine is his last name, that could explain why Carmine is back in Gears 2. Theres noway anyone could live through that kind of sniper shot.
