Gears 2 Rumors

Hey Guys,

I posted this in the podcast thread, but I wanted to post it again to make sure people saw it.  Some of the things I talked in the podcast (Boomshot changes, Subway map, Shield decapitation) were in the context of rumors.  I guess through the course of editing two different podcasts together this part of the conversation got lost.  So, just for the record, the boomshot was normal except it now has four shots, and although though I've heard rumblings about a Subway remake and the Shield decapitation, I haven't actually seen them to confirm anything.  Sorry for any confusion.

By the way, Zos, I crashed at like, 6:30pm,

and didn't get up until 5:00am this morning. I fully planned on getting up in the middle of the night and getting a ton of work done, but it never happened. I do, however, feel great!

Good stuff, David!

Ultimately, because Epic still has 4 months to polish, tweak, and balance, I think everyone would be wise to take everything regarding weapons especially, with the understanding that even major changes could be forthcoming.

When Epic gets their community person in place, these kind of caveats and this kind of language will start gushing forth directly from source itself.

Yo.....

They did confirm a subway remake. It is going to have working trains that can be stopped by turning them off [by button or some other means I don't know]. Shield decapitation hasn't been confirmed but its something I was talking to MDK with the other day because it's not something too far fetched, but the only thing they have confirmed about the shield is that you can kick it over even when someone is taking cover behind it, whether or not it kills the person behind it, I am not sure.
