What'cha readin?

Just curious what people are reading right now. Throw up the title, author, and a brief synopsis. I'm reading a book by Robert Heinlein called "Time Enough for Love." Pretty good stuff. It's about a guy who lives a few thousand years and all the crazy antics he gets himself into. It mainly focuses on you guessed it, love, but also touches on psychology, pioneer life, and all sorts of cool stuff.

Good book. It's hard to get into and has an unusual narrative. But once it picks up, it's quite enjoyable.

That isn't a joke and it is an awesome book that I got from my cousin while in Canada. It has probably over 100 little true and insightful stories about regular people dealing with everyday life.

It is exactly what the title is. Recommended by a coworker (bass playing coworker) About 100 pages in just the usual right now his life upbringing his road to fame shit like that, then what comes next is well the quick and tragic fall from the top(this is what im assuming)!

It's a mystery thriller by James Patterson. I actually just finnished it. Before that I read "Killer Elite" by Michael Smith. An inside look behind America's clandestine Special Operations Team known as, "The Activity"

"Helmet for My Pillow" (none / 0)

by Robert Leckie, and "With the Old Breed: at Peleliu and Okinawa" by E.B. Sledge.
Sledge and Leckie were both riflemen with the 1st Marine Division; Helmet covers the start of the war through Guadalcanal (where a great uncle died), and "With the Old Breed" picks up where it left off.
Between the two one gets quite a perspective on what it was to be a Marine grunt in the Pacific theater.
Prior to that I had read "Storm of Steel", by Ernst Junger.
Rather like Remarque's "Western Front", it follows a German soldier through the Great War.
Coincedentally, Junger is much more ambivalent about the conflict than Remarque; despite having seen more combat and having been wounded twice.

Mass Effect Revelation by Drew Karpyshyn. Great read so far. Has nothing to do with the game but it is more or less about Captain Andersons mission with Saren (you know the one that got hm kicked out of the spectres).
Just got a rare book DEVIL MAY CRY 2 by Shin-Ya Goikeda. Play the game to know what happens ;)

I HIGHLY recommend a book I'm reading now (none / 0)

called "Once You're Lucky, Twice You're Good: The Rebirth of Silicon Valley and the Rise of Web 2.0"
by Sarah Lacey.
It goes in depth behind the lives of the creators of Digg, Facebook, PayPal, etc. and talks in detail of how they were created.
It's a great read and I recommend it to all!
I'm also reading "Blue Like Jazz" by Donald Miller which talks about Christianity, only minus the religious words...It's really, really good and would recommend it for anyone who even thinks there is a God.
