Whats the official "New" game for FFF now?

After reading through the huge conversation over which game we should play for FFF now instead of Gears, what game is it going to be?? I personally vote for CoD4. Ever since I traded it in I've been wanting to get back into it. So, I say CoD4 without hesitation. Hopefully we can get this sorted out in this diary so we can start with the new game this Friday!

    If that was to be the deciding factor, then the game has to be Gears of War, because last time I looked at the poll results, GoW had more votes than the other games combined with more than 2 rooms full.

    Having said that, I see no reason why we can't have 2 or even 3 different games going at once, or at least why we shouldn't give it a try for one FFF.  Everyone signs up with a time and the game they intend to play.

    This may be a total disaster in the making, but if people just stick to what they have signed up for, and actually show up, then, even before the event, everyone will have a very good idea how many rooms will be needed, or if there is even enough interest to make one room work.

      So, it looks like Halo 3 should be in there instead of NHL 09.  I would say, however, that those four be offered then.

      Halo 3
      CoD 4
      GoW 2  YES!  (Just kidding).  We all want to play GoW2.

      With Halo 3, even with as few as 2, people can have a great time.  CoD4 is best with 6+ and Gears really needs to be a full 8.  I don't know about NHL 09.

      What are your thoughts?

      Actually, I have a lot of great memories playing Halo 3 with the 'heads - everyone making chaos in Sandtrap, vehicles flying and flippin' around.

      CoD4 with Kenny screaming "Let's do it!" and watching RoBBins and aamato tucked in their run, just OWNING left and right.  The great thing about CoD4 is that we all fit on one frickin' team! Then, slap that puppy on Friends only and away you go.  Then, of course when we had prison sex with Infinity Ward, or rather, when they had it with us.

      Then, there are all the Gears nights.  Never an evening without a memory.  My favorite is still "Poison".  I can't even say "poison" without laughing out loud. ha ha ha ha  Just like Cliff said, you spend time watching in Gears (I more than anyone, I think) and so it is great when the people still alive put on a show!

      Really, almost every time I am able to join the FFF, no matter what game we are playing, I have one of the most fun times I've had.  You need to bang on the door of those sleeping maintenance guys, Sweetie!  Get back into the Friday night Fray!
