I would like to introduce myself to everyone

Hello everyone, some people do know me and since it has been awhile since i have been really active i would like to do a small write up about myself to introduce myself for all the new gearheads, i have seen alot of new names.
Hello fellow Gearheads, let me introduce myself, my name is Jon aka MDK x2002x. For those who do know me I would like to apologize about my absence as of late and would like to start participating more with the site and the Friday night events again with the upcoming release of Gears 2, for those who don't know me let me introduce myself to everyone. Currently I am 24 years old and finishing up going to college with a degree in digital media and design. When I first started college I wanted to become an animator for movies like the ones probably everyone has seen lately become more and more popular. During my time at school I have made a lot of friends and talked with professors about a career path for myself and was able to attend E3 2005 and 2006 which made me switch directions a little bit in 2006 with the release of the Shadowrun beta on Xbox 360. After I started testing shadowrun I wanted to know more about game testing and seeing what it takes to become a full time tester and working with developers. Everyone thinks that being a tester is fun because you get to play games and get paid, wrong it's really hard work and not so entertaining as I found out. Right now I'm in a little cross road on what I would like to do for a career in the games industry and what I would like to do to help out the community. Over the weekend at the Penny Arcade Expo I was able to make a lot of good contacts with people from the gears universe and would like to help the Gearheads a little bit more and be active with the site. I do have some good things planned for everyone and some cool things in the future for the site. I will do my best to be available to everyone to talk to. Hopefully in the future we can have some surprises and better giveaways for the site. Thank you everyone for your time and I hope to see everyone online during Friday nights or whenever I'm online.
