I just downloaded Spore (illegally) and it's pretty sweet. Apparently there are a lot more people pirating this game because of SecuRom. Basically EA is doing this thing with all of their new PC games that does a automatic verification every 10 days and it only allows you to have 3 installs with the same CD key. So basically if you go over the 3 installs you have to buy a new game. Pissed a lot of people off.

 give your Wife our best, hope she heals soon.  I hated being in a cast when I broke my foot, after 2 surgeries it still isn't right and never will be.  I wish her the best :)  Probably won't be on, if I am it will be early because I have work on Sat. morning.

You can finally count me in this time.  I've been on a gears kick lately, mostly SP, to refresh my memory on the story, in time for Gears 2.  So, I'll gladly be extra chainsaw fodder.  See you all tomorrow...

I downloaded the demo this morning.  Don't think I will be buying it, simply because over the next few months I will be purchasing 2 and maybe even 3 360s, some more monitors (just got the first one yesterday), and multiple copies of every MP game that we want to play.  Already have 2 Gears2 games pre-ordered.  Will probably get the 3rd one once Play Asia allows more than one per customer.  Not only that, but because we want to have a "LAN" room, I need to have some wiring in the house done.  It is simply a matter of cash.  Very good to hear that EA is trying to make the franchise better, rather than just sitting on it.

I hope to be on for the FFF, but I for sure can't be until I finish work, so the time will be like last week, 10:00pm PDT.

Chris, every time you mention that you have to work and can't play, I feel for you, but am always more happy your earning the bread, than sad that we can't game together.
     Also, Johann and Tim noticed that Dylan is gardening away in VP2.  Our copy should be here within a week or so - I went with free shipping this time - so they can't wait to catch up.  BTW, it is getting really solid reviews, especially for a sequel!

Probably not till late though.  Our company golf outing is tomorrow and goes late.

Not sure if I'll be there for FFF I might die of tiredness, turns out when i was sick I had strep throat and mono, apparently the mono is still there which is why Im tired all the time. ANYWAYS, school parade tomorrow at 11am and I'm working tonight till God knows when, so I'm going to be pretty dead by the end of the day but we'll see how it goes.

played the demo and I am definitely renting and possibly buying this one. The pro mode is incredible, every sports game should have it.

I'll have to look into this so called "NHL" game ;P Honestly though, after the whole strike thing that happened I lost my interest in hockey, but if this demo is really good I might buy it. Depends on when it comes out though. Rock Band 2 in ten days!
