My 2008 Halloween Costume?

So, Gearheads, what do you do when you haven't dressed up for Halloween in years and years? You just simply don't. Unless you get inspired by something you happen to see in a store.

Today I was out with my wife in her newly rented wheelchair and we happened upon this. And yes, it has me thinking of spending $80 on this bad boy. If only because my daughter absolutely loves Master Chief (she's only seen videos of him but she's quite fond of the Halo hero).

I'm not sure I would look too great in this outfit as I don't remember Chief having a belly, but what the hell, right? Right!?

it looks like a decent costume, it would be fun to dress up as your favorite character from a game. All weekend long at pax i saw at least 10 marios and louigis oh and a GUY dressed up as a princess peach.

one of the crappy ones with a half-assed mask. you know the ones. elastic string around the back, you could never breathe out of the thing, eye holes that were way too big, and it smelled like diesel fuel? And then the shirt. Ah, how i miss my old friend, the yard waste trash bag shirt. it just screamed "I BOUGHT THIS AT PEOPLES DRUG TONIGHT!!!" (Peoples Drug was what CVS pharmacy was before it was CVS). those plastic shirts were always pretty lame. if you got like the Superman one, you'd get a creepy mask of Superman's face, but the plastic shirt wasn't even designed to look like his super suit. It would just be some random cartoon of Clark Kent behind a desk or something. And what about safety? Kids south of the Mason Dixon lost 10 lbs in sweat in one night running around with rubbish bags covering their torsos. And for that matter, how come we're not sposda give children under 4 grocery bags to play with but we can dress em up in onefor halloween?
And i'm done.
