I was just wondering if any of you guys and gals have any Tattoos? I've been wanting to get one for quite some time, and actually want to get a Gears related one. What are your guys take on tattooss? I know it would have to be something

amazing because it's something I would always have on me ;) This might be the oddest diary I have ever posted. The Cowboys won today as well YES!!

but the parental units aren't budging on the idea, so I have to wait until I'm 18.

I got my first one this summer (none / 0)

Just got mine finished. Its inspired by the Dark Tower book series by Stephen King. One of my best friends is a tattoo artist and he drew and tattooed it. It probably the first of many for me.
The pic is he day after i got it so its a little gummy/scabby

    The dark tower series are my favorite books. Also the gunslingers in the books live by strict code of ethics. Their main rule being "Never forget the face of your father". Which in the context of the book means to always remember where you have come from and to uphold the rules and guidelines you have been taught, and to honor your family. For me its just a reminder of whats most important in my life.

I have my whole back done, my right leg sleeved from knee down, and the left side of my left leg done. I actually have an appointment this saturday to finish the color, and start outlining the inside of my left leg.

I have two big ones... (none / 0)

on my arms. They are traditional Japanese 3/4 sleeves. They stop at my elbows so I can cover them for work. One is a dragon; the other a Samurai with koi, water, and bars worked in.
I've always been heavily into Japanese culture and even married a Japanese woman, so I went ahead and got the work done. Be very careful what you get. I'm in my late thirties and had the work done recently. One of them actually covers a wolf I got when I was 18. Twenty years later it was not looking so hot. Get one as big as you are comfortable with because the small ones lose their detail.

who are not even 18 shouldn't consider getting a game related tattoo. While gaming is fun now and Gears is bad ass when you 50 a got logo on your arm might not make much sense to you or your kids. I don't have one yet but I'm old enough now I would get something that I can live with the rest of my life with no problem. Rules of tattoos at least from what I hear, no names, don't get them drunk, don't get them on your neck, and make sure the artist is good because you don't want to go in for a nice piece and end up with a blob that everyone asks, what is that?

My wife and I (none / 0)

are going to get our first tattoos before the end of this year. She is going to get a tree to symbolize her family and I'm going to get a rampart lion. I wanted to do something a little different though, so instead of using a stock picture I found a picture on line and sent it to a friend of mine who's an artist and she added her own personal touch to it.
