Any Big Plans for Monday Night?

So I'm wondering who out there is going to their midnight launches for Modern Warfare 2? And I think I've asked this before, but what will you do with it first, single player, multiplayer or even possibly Spec Ops?

I'm still torn. I might do a few multiplayer matches just to get the feel for it, but I imagine I'm going to quickly jump into the single player. Infinity Ward is extremely talented at telling gripping stories as COD4 was a fantastic story.

Not only that, but I've got to avoid waking my lovely wife and daughter. So where are you picking it up? Are you doing midnight or waiting until the following morning? Chime in, Gearheads and let's hear it.

I would start with the single player. I always like to play it all the way through before doing any multiplayer, But, my xbox died about a month ago and microsoft wants to charge me 100 dollars to fix it, so I have no xbox at the time being. It really sucks too, L4D2 is coming out and I really wanted to play it.

will always do as much single player as possible before starting MP.

With that being said as part of the 360Junkies community playdate Tuesday night I will be hosting some MP so if you see me online shoot me a message and we can play together. It starts at 7pm PST

To a midnight release tonight at my gamestop to get my copy of the game (Hardened Edition) since I have my buddies copy. I'm pretty excited cause they're supposedly gonna have the game up and running for people to play and supposedly having tournaments to win swag. PLUS they are serving hotwings from Wild Wings. YUM.

And I beat the SP on my other account, let me tell you, you'll WANT to play single player first. It's orgasmic. No lie. It plays out like a movie to the very end. And the story is amazing. Its probably my most favorite single player experience on the 360, besides Bioshock. It's that damn good. And there's plenty of suprises throughout.

I'm hoping on MP though so if yall end up doing that, I'll more than likely be on all night.

        I saw the order in which you unlock certain guns, and for those of you who may know.. who thinks its BS that you unlock the AK47 at level 70?! I wanted something better than that like an awesome rocket launcher or something. The AK better be even better in this game!

When I get time to myself I'll be doing the SP because the story looks epic!

      What's your favorite MP gun so far? I like the SCAR, M4A1 and the MP5 (which seems much better than the first game for some reason).

        I really like the SCAR and the M4 (again since it was my favorite gun in MW1). But if I really had to choose one I'd go with the SCAR. That thing with a holographic or red dot sight is nasty! Cant wait to get the Bling perk and put a silencer and a red dot on both of them!

        Tar-21 with nade launcher
        Famas with red dot
        Glock 18 with silencer
        AA-12 with red dot
        
        As far as killstreaks go, it's care package, predator, pave low. pave low is almost guaranteed to get you around 10 kills.
        
        Side note - I got Chopper gunner from a care package, racked up 15 kills with it before it expired. I literally was taking their entire team out as they were spawning

        Got a ridiculous kill streak when I was in the chopper as well. I love the fact that the care package will occasionally drop something really awesome like that.

        I love how the one jet stays above you and shoots at guys with its machine guns. F'ing awesome. It sucks that I wont be back on until sunday :(

i went to walmart (none / 0)

At around 11:30 last night, and was about 50th in line. Got my game and left by 12:20 or so. Played until 4 am then hit the bed. Its absolutely fantastic so far. I've only played multiplayer, and I don't have any complaints, aside from party chat not being allowed.
