Is it me or are the graphics just... (none / 0)

serviceable? I downloaded the hi-res version & the anti-aliasing was still ridiculous; jaggies everywhere. I understand that IW is locking it in at 60 fps, but the graphics aren't anything revolutionary.

I'm sure the story and gameplay will be awesome, but I just wanted to know everyone else's take on the eye candy. What do you guys think?

  My first take I was impressed with the looks but not at the level I had thought I would be.

        how everyone was saying Halo 3 looked like crap based on the beta before the game even shipped, and it looked a TON better when they polished everything. I'm betting IW has this game looking amazing by the time we play it :)

  I will have to watch it again, but my impressions were that it was fantastically beautiful. Then again, I have been playing TF2 and L4D a lot lately (both pretty games, but can't hold a candle to IW's engine). LOL

look at the screen stills for the trailer on the website

it looks SEXY. A noticeable step up from COD4, which is already very pretty.

  I'm just saying that at first appearance, the visuals didn't seem like a tremendous improvement from CoD 4. There were jaggies that were apparent. Now mind you, IW is still many months away from the November ship date. Of course they are going to polish the game until it shines. I was just wondering if anyone else expected more "Wow factor". The stuff that has been revealed thus far is impressive, but I wasn't floored by what I saw.

    CoD4 had some of the best graphics on a console at the time of its release. I have full faith that IW will do the best they can to do the same thing with MW2

      When it came out, the graphics had that "Wow factor" that I was talking about. That sniper level was outstanding! I'm sure that IW will deliver, it's just that my first impression wasn't an "OMG" reaction.

        Great point boxin which actually brings up another one...
        
        A huge majority of the people who have an xbox 360 don't have an HDTV...yet companies continue to create games with menu's that look like crap on SDTV's and a host of other issues. I really hope IW ensures things like this don't plague MW2.

        but in game graphics usually aren't that great if they depend on high resolutions. There are a lot though!
