Can't wait, though since there is still no release dates, who knows when. With Valve's rep for delayed releases, we may not be able to buy it until December....after the release of L4D2...in which case, I will no longer feel any obligation to buy it. ha ha ha
A 30 minute VS map sounds awesome, though!

bet MS would charge for them as well though! LOL.
You have a great point about Valve being able to update the game through their servers, that would be a good question to raise to the team.

before you passed out, Suns! The two guys that led the charge for the L4D boycott were invited to Valve. After they finished their tour with Gabe Newell, they dropped a major bombshell that there is still more DLC for L4D 1 still to come out after the 'Crash Course' DLC!!!

serious damage control. You have to admit that when Valve announced L4D 2, it seemed like they abandoned the first game's DLC that they had in fact pledged to support it for a long time to come. Come on now, Crash Course is coming out a month before the sequel is released? It seems like they are doing this just to pacify the boycotters.

have gotten hours upon hours on intertainment from L4D 1. Also these "boycotters" need to get a new hobby or something because you know there going to turn around and buy the game as soon as it comes out

They do have some legitimate concerns. Hey, everyone is entitled to their own feelings. If they choose not to spend their money on something, it's their prerogative.
I was very apprehensive on jumping on the L4D 2 bandwagon until Valve proved that it wasn't simply an expansion or content that could have come out as DLC for the first game. I think Valve has definitely proven that the sequel is truly a sequel worthy of full retail pricing. I'll be capping zombies on day one of the sequel's release!

Are you going to be picking it up on PC or 360?
